Kompilační dvou-CD z živých koncertů v jazzovém klubu v Brisbane v Austrálii.
“This double CD is a celebration of the Jazz Voice and a unique slice of Queensland history at the Brisbane Jazz Club. 15 years ago, Ingrid James created and established an event called the JAZZ SINGERS’ JAM NIGHT, which has become “the longest-established source of mentoring and encouragement for jazz singers in Brisbane.” (Alan Western, VP Brisbane Jazz Club). With humble beginnings at venues such as The Travelodge in Roma Street, The Bank in the Valley and Maggies Jazz Club in Milton, the Jazz Singers’ Jam Nights found their rightful home at the iconic Brisbane Jazz Club almost a decade ago. Produced and hosted by Ingrid, one of Australia’s leading jazz singers, the Jam Nights have matured into a community based and celebrated monthly event, playing to capacity houses and supported with open arms by the Brisbane Jazz Club. They have provided a platform for thousands of singers and hundreds of musicians to network, develop and demonstrate their skills and talents in a supportive environment while entertaining and engaging with many tens of thousands of Queenslanders who love this unique art form. The Jazz Singers’ Jam Nights have brought people together. They have helped nurture many emerging singers and given courage and inspiration to those who have rekindled their love for music and the art of jazz. By working with volunteers from the Club and providing her own services at no cost, Ingrid has achieved her goal of giving back to the community that has helped her develop her career in the music industry as a singer, voice educator and recording artist.” Tony Freedland, President, BJC
